I'm Mark, the photographer behind Luxe Wedding Photography, photographing weddings across Aberdeenshire, Scotland and throughout the UK. My aim is simple: to give you brilliant photographs without making you feel like you're spending your wedding day on a photoshoot.
From the excitement (and possibly a glass of fizz!) while you're getting ready, to the emotion of the ceremony, the questionable speech jokes and the dance floor antics, I'll be there to capture the moments that make your wedding yours. The big moments matter, of course, but so do all the little things happening in between.
Your wedding day is about spending time with the people you love, so I won't keep you away from them for hours. We'll organise a few relaxed group photos with your favourite people, then take a little time for some photographs of just the two of you. Nothing awkward or over-posed — just a chance to catch your breath together while I capture some lovely images.
For the busier parts of the day, I bring an assistant to help keep group photos running smoothly and make sure we don't miss what's happening around us. That means more candid shots of your guests laughing, chatting and enjoying themselves, while we can also get those photographs of you two without keeping you away from the party for too long.
Whether you're getting married in an Aberdeenshire country house, a rustic barn, a city venue or somewhere a little different, my job isn't to take over your wedding. It's to help you enjoy every minute of it while capturing photographs that bring it all back for years to come.

I always recommend couples try to keep the group shots to around a dozen
This way your able to get back the wedding as quickly as possible.
COUPLE PORTRAITS
This part of the day is where we can relax and get some nice portraits done and doesn't take too long
as I want you to spend your time with friends and family.
If we are blessed with good weather and a nice sunset I will ask to get some sunset images.
SPEECHES,CAKE CUTTING & THE DANCING
With the speeches we will capture the reactions from the top table and all of the reactions from your friends and family.
A Little About Me
Hi, I'm Mark.
I'm the guy behind Luxe Wedding Photography — and I genuinely think choosing your photographer is about more than just liking their photographs. You're going to spend a pretty big part of your wedding day with them, so hopefully you like the person behind the camera too!
I'm naturally pretty easy-going and love getting to know the couples I photograph. I don't expect you to be comfortable in front of a camera, and I'm certainly not going to turn your wedding into a day of awkward poses and forced smiles. My job is to help you relax, have a laugh and enjoy being with the people you love — while I quietly get on with capturing what's happening around you.
I love the real stuff: the nervous excitement before the ceremony, the look you give each other when nobody else is watching, your friends making you laugh, the family hugs and the dance floor going slightly off the rails.
I cover weddings across Aberdeenshire, Scotland and throughout the UK, and whether your day is big, small, traditional, completely bonkers or somewhere in between, I'll bring the same relaxed approach.
At the end of the day, I'm not just there to take your photographs. I'm there to make sure you have a bloody good time while I'm doing it.
