From the dramatic mountains of Glencoe and the Scottish Highlands to the rugged coastline of the Isle of Skye, the Cairngorms, Loch Lomond and the wild landscapes of the North Coast 500, I’ll travel wherever your Scottish elopement takes you.

My photography is natural, documentary and relaxed, with an editorial feel when we create your couple portraits. I’ll capture the real moments, the emotions, the laughter and the adventure, while using creative off-camera flash to create those beautiful, atmospheric portraits you’ll treasure.

I’m Mark, the photographer behind Luxe Wedding Photography, and my aim is to make you feel comfortable, relaxed and completely yourselves in front of the camera. I’ll be there from the excitement of getting ready through to the ceremony, speeches, celebrations and final couple portraits, capturing your day as it naturally unfolds. I won’t have you posing all day or whisk you away from your guests for hours. Instead, I’ll blend in, get to know you and the people who matter most to you, and capture the genuine laughter, happy tears, little details and unexpected moments that make your wedding yours. My approach is personal, relaxed and unobtrusive, so you can spend less time worrying about the photographs and more time enjoying every second. When you look back at your gallery, I want you to feel the day all over again.

Your engagement session offers the perfect opportunity to get to know your wedding photographer and understand what to expect on your wedding day. You'll learn how to pose naturally and confidently, discovering the subtle techniques your photographer uses to capture your best angles while keeping you relaxed and authentic.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you travel for destination weddings?

I work across the UK, but Brexit has made it harder to work in Europe. There are now more rules about work permits when travelling and working in Europe.

2. Do you help with planning our engagement session?

I'd be happy to help you brainstorm ideas and locations, and provide guidance on what to wear to complement your chosen setting for your engagement session.

3. Do you provide payment plans for any of your packages ?

Yes, I offer flexible payment plans for both package 1 and package 2.

After the initial £300 booking fee is paid, the remaining balance can be spread over 12 months.

4. Do you offer digital files, prints, or albums?

I offer a gallery of high-resolution images, each personally edited by me. You can order prints and albums at any time for an additional cost.

5. Do you have a recommended videographer?

I can reccomend videographers once you have booked myself as your wedding photographer.

6. Can I request specific poses or shots?

You can ask for certain shots or poses prior to the wedding or even on the day.

If you want off camera flash shots or creative shots where we use coloured gels along with off camera flash then this needs to be confirmed prior to the wedding.

7. Can we meet before the session?

I would always recommend meeting up either for a relaxed chat somewhere or even arranging an engagement session which is the perfect way to learn about each other and understand how your photographs are taken on your wedding day.

8. How long till I receive the final photos?

I always try to get your gallery ready for downloading within 4 weeks but will often send the gallery a lot sooner,but this is dependant on the time of year,

but I always keep clients up to date on when to expect the final gallery edits.
